Katy Palmer, BCBA, LBA
Assistant Program Director, May Center for ABA Services, Richmond, Va.


Katy Palmer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Virginia. She has worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities for over 15 years, and currently serves as the Assistant Program Director for the May Center for ABA Services in Virginia.

She earned a Master of Science degree with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism from Russell Sage College of Education in Troy, N.Y.  She holds teaching licensure in the state of Virginia for special education in the areas of learning and intellectual disabilities and emotional disturbances.    

Mrs. Palmer joined May Institute in 2014 as a Behavior Analyst responsible for developing and updating individualized treatment plans and curriculum based on those treatment plans. She became the Assistant Program Director for the Virginia office in 2017. She is currently responsible for supervising and training Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), overseeing programming, and managing her own client caseload.
